0 How to Fix Local Only or Limited Connectivity in Vista




In this post, I will teach you on how to fix wireless connection should work on windows vista.

First of, you might want to open Network and sharing center and disable your ip version 6 (IPV6). the way to do it is click on view status, and click on properties. click on continue. and make sure you unchecked the box on IPV6. then close ok then close.


When your internet connectivity still cant connect to the internet, what you have to do is click start > control panel > and device manager. 


Under device manager click on network adpaters, click on ethernet controller. the image shows the "Generic marvell yukon ethernet conrtoller" your may be different:

Now right click on the "ethernet controller" and select properties:

After that go to advance tab, and disable Large send offload [IPv6], disable TCP checksum [IPv6], disable UDP checksum [IPv6]: click ok:

Give your internet status to refresh for a few minutes, and you should connect to the internet problem solved:
